The Options Tab is where you can customize many aspects of your Mobile Text Alerts Account
The full name of the account. This will show at the top of the sign-up page for your account. This should be something fairly descriptive like "Indian Hills Community Church," or "James' Text Alert Account"
This is the username that is used to log into your account. Your username is also your keyword for your account. Members visit your sign-up page by going to https://mobile-text-alerts.com/<username>. This is also the word that users can text to 662-200-4303 to be automatically signed up for your account.
The name of the person we should contact for issues regarding your account.
The email address of the person we should contact for issues regarding your account.
The email address that messages sent from your account should be sent from. Replies to messages you send out will be returned to this address as well.
This is the welcome message that will be sent to users when they sign up for your account. If the welcome message is left blank, then a default welcome message will be sent.
Checking this box will allow members to choose which group(s) they are joining from your sign-up page. If you uncheck this box, members will not be able to select which group(s) they are signing up for, and must be added manually. (Individual groups can be hidden from the Main Tab)
Checking this box will allow members to sign up with their email address instead of their phone number. Messages you send out will be sent to email addresses as well as phone numbers. If this box is left unchecked, then members can only sign up with phone numbers.
Checking this box allows members to sign up for your text alert account by texting your username to 662-200-4303. If this box is left unchecked, then members can not join by texting in. (For more information on the 781 number, view our 781 number tutorial)
