Before you start sending messages there is one important thing you need.. People to send your messages to! There are four ways to add members to your account.
Method 1: Sign Up Page
Members can sign up by visiting your sign up page. Users are asked to fill out their Name and Phone Number. They click "Sign Up," and they are instantly added to your account and can receive their first message
Your sign up page is located at https://mobile-text-alerts.com/<username> (for example, if your username is "lincolnChurch," your sign up page will be located at https://mobile-text-alerts.com/lincolnChurch)
Method 2: Text In
Members can also sign up for your account by texting in. Texting the username of the account to 662-200-4303 will automatically sign that member up for the account (for example, texting "lincolnChurch" to 662-200-4303 would sign the number that sent the text up for the lincolnChurch account).
Method 3: Add Members From the Control Panel
The third and final way to add members to your account is in the control panel. Here is a step-by-step example of how to add a member from your control panel.
-Open up your web browser and go to "https://mobile-text-alerts.com/login"
-Enter the username and password that you chose when you created your account (if you can't remember your username or password or have other issues, send us an email and we will help you out)
-Once you have logged in, click the "Insert" button in the control panel on the members panel
-When you click "Insert," a new member will be created with a template name and number.
-Go ahead and set the member's first name, last name, phone number, and email (if applicable) -- Unlike many text alert systems, You do not need to know your member's cell phone carrier to send them text messages
Method 4: Import a spreadsheet
If you have a lot of members that you need to enter, sometimes the easiest way is to import a spreadsheet.
