Spread the word and get people excited about your summer camp! Let parents and kids know about dates, costs, and promotions.
Sometimes life happens and events need to be canceled. Let your campers and their parents know about cancellations due to weather or other issues.
Remind parents and kids of upcoming camp dates and activities. If your camp is a day camp, send out reminders so that kids will come prepared for the activities of each day (“Wear your swimming gear for tomorrow’s visit to the lake!”).
The unfortunate truth is that sometimes emergencies happen at summer camps. In the (rare) event that something does happen, texting is a quick and convenient way to let a large amount of people know about the emergency.
Fill parents and students in on updates regarding event activities, schedule changes, and anything else they might like to know. Parents might enjoy being kept up-to-date on what their children are up to. Campers will appreciate being informed about changes in the daily schedule.
