LuLaRoe: Track Loyalty Rewards by Automatically Forwarding Order Receipt Emails

LuLaRoe retailers, we’ve added another feature for you to hopefully help make your lives easier!

You can now forward your customers’ order confirmation emails to have their purchases automatically added to the Loyalty Rewards page on your Mobile Text Alerts control panel.

All you have to do to get it set up is go to your Loyalty Rewards page on your control panel and enter your LuLaRoe merchant ID (this would be the ID that shows up in the Order Confirmation emails):

Then whenever you get emailed a copy of your customer’s purchase confirmation, you can forward it to reply@mobile-text-alerts.com; the system will detect your customer’s email address from the message and will add the purchases to their loyalty rewards count. (You’ll just want to make sure that your customer’s email address is included somewhere in the forwarded email; most email apps and sites should have it automatically included in the header of the forwarded message.)

If you want to completely automate things, you could have your purchase receipt confirmations sent directly to reply@mobile-text-alerts.com. Then anytime an order is made, the purchases would be added and you wouldn’t even have to forward anything over!

  • However, it is important to note that cash transactions may not include the Merchant ID in the Purchase Receipt email, so for cash transactions you may have to manually copy/paste the Merchant ID into the forwarded email. These cannot currently be automated.

To forward the order confirmations, you will need to add a forwarding address of reply@mobile-text-alerts.com. If you want to automate this process, here are instructions of how to do that in Gmail:

Step 1: Go to Settings.

Step 2: Go to Forwarding and POP/IMAP.

Step 3: Click “Add a Forwarding Address” and add reply@mobile-text-alerts.com. Note that once you set up emails to forward to reply@mobile-text-alerts.com, you will need to wait for a confirmation on our end in order for the change to fully process. You can contact us if you would like to expedite the confirmation.

Step 4: Paste “from:(noreply@lularoebless.com) subject:(“my lularoe order” OR “purchase receipt from lularoe”)” into the gmail search bar and click the down arrow on the right.

Step 5: Then click “Create Filter With This Search.”

Step 6: On the next screen, check the “Forward it to:” checkbox and select reply@mobile-text-alerts.com from the dropdown, then click “Create Filter.” Any new emails from noreply@lularoebless.com with My LuLaRoe Order Number in the subject line should be automatically forwarded to reply@mobile-text-alerts.com for reward tracking.

    It is now asking for a confirmation code from reply@mobile-text-alerts.com to set up forwarding. How do we get this?

      Hi there, thanks for your comment! I went ahead and confirmed the email forwarding so that should be good to go. You’ll also want to make sure the Merchant ID listed on your Loyalty Rewards page matches the Merchant ID listed on the Purchase Receipt from LuLaRoe emails (this would be different from your regular retailer ID).

    I just followed the instructions to set up auto forwarding for my customer reward program. Is there anyway someone could check to see if I did it correctly?
    I already check my Merchant ID and that’s all set

    I just imported my Bless and it counted every purchase, even ones that were discounted. Assuming I would have to adjust everyone’s accordingly. Then I could setup the automatic forward.

      Hi Misty, thanks for your comment! Sorry for any confusion. Currently the reward tracking does count discounted purchases, whether you import from Bless or do the email forwarding – You could adjust your rewards to track by dollars spent, if that helps (you can change this from the Loyalty Rewards page on your control panel and you can also manually keep track of rewards from there as well.)       Hi Cassie, I went ahead and got it confirmed on our end so you should be good to go on that front! (Also note that cash transactions may not be counted automatically via this method as mentioned in the post, so you may have to manually copy and paste the merchant ID in the forwarded emails for cash transactions.)
