We have good news to announce for our Mobile Text Alerts customers!
Some of you have experienced deliverability issues with some of your messages. Often this can be due to blocks on certain subscribers’ phones/plans that prevents them from receiving messages from shortcodes (short numbers).
We now have new reporting available on the back end that will in many cases allow us to detect if a message has been undelivered due to these blocks.
For many carriers, our system will now be able to detect this error and retry these failed messages on a different sending server through longcodes (10-digit numbers).
This is good news for you because it will increase the chances of your messages being delivered successfully. The result will be increased reliability and effectiveness of your text alert system!
This new feature is currently being automatically applied to all accounts, so there’s nothing you need to do on your end to enable it.
